Denied truths

The walls grow beneath my feet. I do not yet see you, but there will be a time when I will. There is no knowing what will stand in the lands beyond the obstruction built around our minds. Do not cry for the butterfly’s death, but do pity its name. All around you one day dissolve, exposing the truths that can not be accepted, the ones that we must deny to live. A lie fallen from the mouth of the world poisoning, yet giving meaning to the mismatched insanity of what you will believe is real.
